Ekim - By Far the Best

Love it here. I have lived at other Apt. properties over the years, and the Ashlar is by far the best. The property is very clean, and the folks that work here are all so nice. I am here almost five years now,and plan on staying for many more. Love It.

Since I Have Lived Here ...

Since I have lived here, I have found my particular apartment in violation of the NFPA 70 NEC 110.7 and Florida Building Code M1411.3. The entire gourp of outlets in the dining room have no power to them, and we have submitted, in writing, a request to have this fixed. Nothing has been done. The A/C unit's drainage system overflowed into the apartment and caused damage to the surrounding ceiling. Nothing has been done. These two problems are in direct violation of the above listed codes. The management's indirect refusal to remedy these issues is in direct violation of Florida Statute: Title VI Chapter 83.51(1)

I am glad that I am not the only one

I am glad that I am not the only one that had some issues. My stay at the Ashlar apartments wasn't that bad though. I didn't have a dog, but I don't think the poop in the grass was a problem for me, I actually saw lots of people who followed the rules and picked up after themselves. I didn't have any bugs in my apartment, infact the pest people went around to a different building each month to alleviate such problems. The office staff is friendly, but like someone else posted, very difficult to get a hold of them and when you do they pretend to care. The maintenance guys were nice, they came out to fix my AC a few times. I don't know what the problem was, but it did cause my bill to go up for a couple of months. Yes, the walls are paper thin and the neighbors here it all. I lived on the top floor and my neighbors were young so it didn't pose a problem.
