I am glad that I am not the only one

I am glad that I am not the only one that had some issues. My stay at the Ashlar apartments wasn't that bad though. I didn't have a dog, but I don't think the poop in the grass was a problem for me, I actually saw lots of people who followed the rules and picked up after themselves. I didn't have any bugs in my apartment, infact the pest people went around to a different building each month to alleviate such problems. The office staff is friendly, but like someone else posted, very difficult to get a hold of them and when you do they pretend to care. The maintenance guys were nice, they came out to fix my AC a few times. I don't know what the problem was, but it did cause my bill to go up for a couple of months. Yes, the walls are paper thin and the neighbors here it all. I lived on the top floor and my neighbors were young so it didn't pose a problem. I have a friend who lives there now and apparently some things haven't changed. Oh, and those security gate

Since I Have Lived Here ...

Since I have lived here, I have found my particular apartment in violation of the NFPA 70 NEC 110.7 and Florida Building Code M1411.3. The entire gourp of outlets in the dining room have no power to them, and we have submitted, in writing, a request to have this fixed. Nothing has been done. The A/C unit's drainage system overflowed into the apartment and caused damage to the surrounding ceiling. Nothing has been done. These two problems are in direct violation of the above listed codes. The management's indirect refusal to remedy these issues is in direct violation of Florida Statute: Title VI Chapter 83.51(1)

Ekim - By Far the Best

Love it here. I have lived at other Apt. properties over the years, and the Ashlar is by far the best. The property is very clean, and the folks that work here are all so nice. I am here almost five years now,and plan on staying for many more. Love It.

We are out!

Me and my husband lived there for one year, that was all I could take! Ok, it is clean for the most part execpt the dog poop in the grass, but the walls are extremely thin and appliances are bottom of the barrel. Office service is very poor, I had called in with a few concerns and they didn't seem to care much. Definitely glad to be out finally!

Living Here was Alright at Best

The apartment complex overall looks pretty good, but once you move in it is really a pretty basic apartment. There is dog shit all over the place, seems like people just don't respect other people. Also the pond smells like sewage. At best, this place was ok, I would possibly look somewhere else before I moved in here. If you have to live here I would recommend the back left corner.

Don't Be A Fool

From an Anonymous Poster: Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007 This place seems ok at the beginnig but after that forget about it ... the MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN especially the Manager L ;) She is very rude and disrespectful. Look for something else especially now with the market down. The apartments are rotten. Ants and other bugs are a major problem. The walls are paper thin and sometimes i can hear my neighbours conversation. Do not be fooled by the first time pleaeant appearance of the Ashlar management staff. They are completely fake and only treat you with respect and kindness before you sign the 10 page contract, after that you are more like a prisoner instead of a tenant. If u have a problem regarding your apartment you are pretty much on your own. I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH UNPROFFESIONAL INDIVIDUALS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.... and folks the good comments u see on this website, it is the management writing it. STAY AWAY!!! TRUST ME!
